“EMILIA”

Stephanie Herrera is a Canadian Comedy Awards nominee, the winner of the Durham Region Art of Transition award for “Best Entertainment” and is the founder and Artistic Director of the Not-for-profit: Durham Improv Collective Inc. Stephanie is the Director of Industry Operations for the Future of Film Showcase in Toronto and the Durham Region International Film Festival. She finds time to act in film and TV and as a voice over artist; write for TV and film; host and speak at corporate events all over Canada; regularly performs and directs Interactive Dinner Theatre shows throughout Ontario; teaches acting and improv classes; and occasionally jumps up on stage with comedy greats like Peter Wildman (CBC’s The Frantics) and Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?). Her first book, “The Ten Commandments…of Improvising!” has just been published and her one-woman musical show, “Am I Pretty Now?: A Musical Romp Through Plastic Surgery” debuted at the 2017 Toronto Fringe Festival with top reviews.
